Summer Yoga Retreat

Inspiration for the next stage of your yoga practice, 29 June-5 July

We invite you to a special summer yoga retreat at the Hungarian Yoga Associaton, conducted by 5 experienced international yoga teachers of the Satyananda Yoga-Bihar Yoga tradition. The foundation of the program will be the systematic practice of different branches of yoga. At this retreat you will have the opportunity to deepen your practice of mantra, hatha yoga shatkarmas, asana and pranayama, yoga nidra, meditation, kirtan and havan.

By developing your practice of the various branches of yoga, you will attain the tools to bring balance to your life and personality. Familiarising yourself with the principles and aims of the different types of yoga, and then deepening your understanding with regular and systematic practice – or sadhana – is the path to truly experiencing yoga.

The retreat is practice-based, with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the principles behind the practices in daily lectures. The retreat will offer you inspiration to follow your yogic path, and give you a better understanding of how to address the needs of your body, mind and soul.

Your guides on this week-long journey will be five experienced yoga teachers; Swami Omgyanam and Swami Mudrarupa from Serbia, Swami Bhaktananda from Hungary, Radha and Mudita from Bulgaria.

Swami Omgyanam was born in Serbia where she completed her formal education. Since initiation in the Satyananda yoga tradition in 1988, she dedicated her life to both experiencing and teaching yoga. In 1995 she left for India, to live in the Ganga Darshan ashram in Mungir until 2008. For several years she was teaching meditation and Satyananda Yoga Nidra in various courses held at the Bihar School of Yoga. Swami Omgyanam tours overseas to teach and propagate SATYANANDA YOGA®, and teaches relaxation and meditation in Serbia. Her special interest is in yoga philosophy and mind management.

Radha is a certified instructor of the Satyananda system of yoga. She teaches courses in Yoga Centre Aradhana and Yogadharma studio in Sofia.
